Technical details
Thelia 2.6.0's Smarty email template processor fails to restrict access to dangerous PHP functions (system, exec, file_put_contents, file_get_contents). An authenticated administrator can inject malicious Smarty expressions via the messages configuration interface; when the template is previewed or rendered, these functions execute with web server privileges. Exploitation requires administrative authentication and results in remote code execution and arbitrary file operations.
