Junglewise does that check for you around the clock: connect your code, cloud and domains, and it matches new vulnerabilities like this one against what you actually run and tells you when one reaches you.
How to fix
- Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App.Runtime.win-arm64 (NuGet): upgrade to 9.0.21 or later
dotnet add package Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App.Runtime.win-arm64 --version 9.0.21 - Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App.Runtime.win-x64 (NuGet): upgrade to 9.0.21 or later
dotnet add package Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App.Runtime.win-x64 --version 9.0.21 - Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App.Runtime.win-x86 (NuGet): upgrade to 9.0.21 or later
dotnet add package Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App.Runtime.win-x86 --version 9.0.21

Technical details
The vulnerability stems from CWE-183 (permissive list of allowed inputs) in XAML and XPS parsing within WPF's URI handling. The flaw allows unsafe URI fetching and navigation, propagation of untrusted input through hyperlinks, and improper TrueType font validation. An attacker with network access can trigger the vulnerability via a specially crafted XAML document through user interaction (UI:R), resulting in confidentiality disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
