Oracle Coherence, a data grid solution used for high-speed data processing and storage, contains a vulnerability in its core component. An attacker with low-level access to the network can exploit this flaw to take full control of the system. Technical details
This vulnerability exists in the Core component of Oracle Coherence within the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite. It is classified as easily exploitable, requiring only low-privileged user permissions and network access via the TCP protocol. The attack does not require user interaction. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to compromise the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the Coherence cluster, potentially leading to a complete takeover.
