Technical details
The vulnerability is a pop-up logic flaw in Vivo Kids Mode that fails to properly verify password authentication before allowing access to Quick Apps. The flaw allows an attacker with physical access to a device to bypass the password verification mechanism through manipulation of the pop-up interface. No user interaction or special privileges are required beyond physical device access. An attacker can leverage this to exit Kids Mode restrictions and use Quick Apps that were intended to be locked. The vulnerability affects Kids Mode versions below 4.9.7.1, and patches are available through in-app updates.
