## How to fix

- Fixed in 0.9.12-beta

## Technical details

The Desktop Authentication Middleware component fails to properly secure the /app_data endpoint, allowing information disclosure through remote network access. The vulnerability affects the Electron desktop application's local HTTP services, which generate and use private credentials at launch but do not adequately restrict unauthenticated access to certain data files. The issue was fixed in version 0.9.12-beta by securing local service endpoints and restricting external API access in the Electron desktop app.
